David Copperfield, A Drama, in Two Acts by John Brougham, Esq. was first performed at Brougham’s Lyceum, New York City on January 6th, 1851.  Brougham was cast as Wilkins Micawber, John Owens as Uriah Heep, and D. S. Palmer as David Copperfield.  Mrs. Brougham had the role of Mrs. Peggotty.
